What to expect from my yoga classes online

Updated: Sep 27, 2023

In a nutshell, expect slow and mindful, warm and friendly.

I'll start this post by making a confession...

Until recently, I didn't think I was a very good yoga teacher.

I kept comparing myself to other teachers, who’ve been in the field for years and have decades of experience.

I felt small and wasn’t sure if I was offering something of value, because I wasn’t teaching like they do.

The thing is...I don't teach what they do and that's fine. I'm unique.

I'm not for everybody, but I certainly bring a lot of value to the table.

Yes, I still doubt myself. However, I'm at a point now where I'm proud of what I've achieved in the yoga space and my style of teaching.

I'm proud because of the enormous passion I have for yoga and how much knowledge I've gathered (and continue to gather) seeking perfection, which, of course, doesn't exist!

So putting my insecurities aside, I wanted to tell you a bit more about what you can expect if you practice yoga online with me.

Let's start:

Expect relaxed, friendly, and unpretentious.

I'm everything except polished. Besides, I like to keep my classes easy going, approachable and accessible for people of all ages, genders and bodies.

Expect a warm, friendly environment where you feel like you're practising amongst close friends.

I don’t teach boot camp, I provide you a safe space for rest and relaxation.

I'm sorry but my first priority as a yoga teacher is not to strengthen your body or improve your flexibility.

Instead, I focus on helping you relieve stress and teaching you the tools that will help you calm your busy mind when you're struggling or having a hard time.

I won't necessarily push you to the limits of your body, but I will challenge the way you think and live your life, especially when it comes to self-care and the importance of rest.

Accessibility is important to me.

I offer you several variants of the same pose or exercise to make sure you practice safely and your practice is adequate to your level of experience (or your mood that day).

I will never judge you or single you out, and I’ll try my best to meet you exactly where you are.

I work hard to honour the roots of yoga.

I teach traditional, classical yoga, so my classes include a lot more than just physical poses.

I see yoga as a philosophy to live a better life, and as a spiritual practice, so my classes embody that.

I also integrate many elements - from breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, cleansing practices, and meditation.

So all in all, if you're someone in need of rest and who struggles to give yourself permission to stop and relax...

...Someone looking for a practice with a holistic approach to health, wellbeing, and fitness...

...If you prefer slow and mindful, and warm and friendly...

I think you will like my classes 😇

From yoga beginners, to more experienced practitioners, my classes are suitable for all levels. I also offer different programs that will adapt to your level of experience and your yoga objectives.

For example, if you have little to no experience in Yoga, I recommend you start with my 12-week Yoga Course for Beginners. This is a limited course launching on the 25th of September specifically created to help you establish a regular yoga practice and introduce you to the foundations of yoga - from the yoga poses, to the breath and meditation.

If on another hand, you're looking for a way to relieve stress after work and support your mental health in a more sustainable way, then my monthly membership is the perfect option. I offer 2 weekly yoga classes focuses on helping you release tension and recharging.
